GBI’s Fluorofab® PTFE coated fiberglass and Aramid 70% open mesh belts are engineered to offer the ultimate airflow when drying woven and non-woven textiles. Most styles are available with a black U.V. block coating for ultra violet drying in widths up to 197" wide. The fluorocarbon resins are chemically inert and the woven glass or Aramid substrate provides exceptional strength and dimensional stability. Its non-stick surface, U.V block properties and high temperature resistance, ensures the flow of materials through the curing or drying process.
Many belt splice techniques are offered for an exceptionally strong splice:
- Metal Alligator or Clipper
- Open Mesh Air Flow (OMAF)
- Kevlar® Cable Seam
To enhance the tracking and belt life GBI offers various styles of edging:
- Heat sealed and sewn, PTFE coated fabric for reinforcement
- Sewn only
- Heat sealed TFE film edging
Properties:
- High temperature resistance 550°F or 290°C
- Anti-static surface
- Chemical and abrasion resistance
- Mechanical strength
- High wear and flex resistance
- Smooth non-stick PTFE surface
