Working with a major manufacturer of resealable pouches to reduce machine downtime and operating expense, GBI replaced their standard 2 ply 3 mil PTFE/Glass band sealing belts with our DXL 3 (Deluxe Extended Life) 2 ply belts. This customer went from replacing the belts every eight hours with the old style belts to replacing them every 48 hours with the DXL 3 belts. The abrasion and impact resistance of this unique material delivered more than our customer had dared hope for. Needless to say, the slight increase in the cost of the DXL 3 belts over the old style belt was more than justified.
